Bisoprol and Midodrine for Migraines

I have been on Bisoprol for years and it has cut down on my migraines.

Midodrine (also given for my POTS has also helped tremendously with my migraines.

Migraine Beta Blockers

According to Bisoprolol is a beta-blocking drug. Beta-blockers affect the heart and circulation (blood flow through arteries and veins).

Bisoprolol, also called Zebeta® inthe USA, is most commonly used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).

Midodrine - is also called Orvaten® or Proamatine® in the USA. According to the Mayo Clinic it used to treat low blood pressure (aka hypotension).

It works by stimulating the nerve endings in our blood vessels, thus causing the blood vessels to tighten. As a result, blood pressure is increased.
