Meditating with Intense Pain
You are right - I had no access to further support after the weekend intensive oh so many years ago, and support would have been beneficial. I did practice for about 10 years, and still use that technique occasionally. However I find observing the migraine pain, which I can't escape, a very intense way to meditate.
I understand all of what you said in your previous email, but I found TM very challenging with the migraine pain levels. Normal physical or emotional pain is a walk in the park in comparison!
Could I be so bold as to ask what you might suggest as a practice for someone, like myself, who spends 20 days per month in severe migraine? Or what you might recommend to do as a practice when you are experiencing excruciating pain.
